Mr Deng I have seen 2 of your cities bridges in the news this week!
One was the tourist bridge that I got to walk over & it brought back that wonderful feeling that I had finally made it to China & the other was the one that collapsed. It looked like a very old bridge & I hope there were not many hurt.

Also, what is the preffered English spelling of Suchow?? I was having trouble deciding which way to spell it, Is there a pidgin, or pinyan, that is more appropriate?

    Dear Mr. Gi
What is your meaning? I do not kow the brige that collepse. In the news here I did not see that news. The brige here is very old so they did not fall down before this time but who knows that? No one knows That!!!
Now we spelling Suzhou but in the very old time the forgeiner say Suchow. If your map is very old then it will say that.
Please come back to Suzhou to visit this place! It is more modern now so you can feel like USA .
    -Mr. Deng

Good to see you back online.....

The bridge collapse was on the BBC news on the internet & had pictures of the bridge. It was the oldest one? & said something about officials being investigated for not preventing it. I will have to go back to look for the story.

This week the BBC had a report that the United Europe, UE, was upset that China was flooding the west with shoes & ruining business for east Europe country manufacturers, so I was thinking about you.

Thank you for the invite back as I would very much like to return to China but I must let you know that I am one that appreciates the historical qualities rather than getting to see more modern that has its qualities but there is always a trade off whether old or new. & I think the old that has been used & lasted 1000s of years contains a powerful energy from each & all the people who have been before.

Imagine without yr small town Marco Polo might not have survived his journey & brought the awareness of your Ancestors to my Ancestors...........

wellll I am confused because I cannot find the story in the BBC archives but I know I would not have invented it *~*

& if they are ok there then that is good & what matters but I remember the picture that it was a small canal bridge & old & there was a car on it???????????
